Final Fantasy XI
After a long time away (about 3 years), I’m back focusing on FFXI. The new expansion, Wings of the Goddess, is really fun–especially campaign. I’m totally addicted to campaign battles in Jugner Forest [S] and Merip. Mountains [S] so, if you’re on Valefor, come hang out!

I love raiding the land gods, sky gods, doing BCNMs, and generally hanging out. I’ve also become addicted to campaign battles, campaign ops, and assault missions. Hello, not so much a comment but a question for you since you are running vista and FFXI. I and a few others are having issues with FF, and Vista. When you get past POL, and into the FF game, every 2 seconds it skips/freezes and then goes on and repeats. 2 of us are using ATI, one is using nVidia, all of us have DX10, all have latest drivers for our cards, all of us have 1 gb of ram or more. Could you let me know if you have any ideas?

I had that exact same issue when I had Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 installed on my machine under Vista. Uninstalling Virtual PC resolved the issue (much to my annoyance).
Amazing how you can dredge up old pals while cruising the internet. =p

Haha! I’m not sure about DRK, but I should be back in around next Tuesday. Lost my discs again so I had to re-order them since no one around here is carrying anything but the PS2 version of the game.
Haha, {sweets}. See if you can get Falk back with the Welcome Home. I was amazed that I could get Ehon back. He was totally nekkid (since I gave everything away when I left), but he had his levels. Over the past couple of months, I’ve slowly farmed, farmed, farmed, and farmed to get basic gear back for RDM. SAM will come someday…
The original Falkieri I deleted when we all left the game, so no hope there. >< Last time I was playing I used a “borrowed” account but was asked for it back which is why I left again a little while before you came back. I’m gonna have to start from scratch unfortunately, which means I’m gonna be continually looking for help with ZM’s, Bastok Missions, CoP, ToAU, etc… It’s gonna be a serious pain in the butt I think..
Wouldn’t happen to have a Buddy Pass lying around would you? I’ve been searching the net like mad but can’t find one at all.. shame on SE for not having Direct Downloads. :/

I like your site and all the info you provide, and that is why i figured i might come to you with some questions and see if maybe you’d be willing to help.
It deals with ffxi, win vista, 8800gts, and a laptop, i’ve tried a number of things but i can’t get the game to run right, it’s a shame how my old emachines t3256 with a humble radeon 9600xt can run the game better than this HDX pavilion.
if you would be so kind i’ll be forever grateful, I’m trying to take the game with me when i go to Iraq.
